New Delhi: Former President Pranab Mukherjee is currently admitted to the hospital and after brain surgery, his condition has been stated to be critical. In the bulletin issued by the Army Hospital in Delhi, it has been told that 84-year-old Pranab's condition has worsened. In this difficult time, Pranab Mukherjee's daughter and Congress leader ShamisthaMukherjee has tweeted about her father. Shamistha remembers the day her father received the country's highest award Bharat Ratna. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna last year. Shamistha has also thanked those who wished for his father's speedy recovery.

The former President's daughter wrote in her tweet,"Last year, eight August was the happiest day of my life when my father got Bharat Ratna. Exactly one year later, on 10 August, he became ill. May Goddo the best he can for me and give me the strength to bear the same feeling of happiness and sorrow. I thank everyone who expressed concern about his health.'

 

 The former president is also battling Coronavirus infection. He gave this information through a tweet on Monday. According to the statement of the Army Hospital,"The former President's emergency surgery was performed on 10 August 2020for a brain clot. There is no improvement in his condition. His health has deteriorated further. He is still on a ventilator."
