Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has stepped up to attack the Modi government over Chinese violation in Ladakh.
Modi Government has left us vulnerable, says Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has stepped up to attack the Modi government over Chinese violation in Ladakh. Gandhi released a 3 and half minute video on his twitter handle attacking the Modi government and questioning over the foreign policy, weakened economy and relationships with neighbouring countries on Friday (July 17). In the video, he compared the status of India before Modi and after Modi.

He termed the Modi era as, 'How Modi Weakened India'. He asked many questions in the video to the Central government led by Narendra Modi. He asked why China have chosen this particular time to attack a country like India? Why does china choose to violate the LAC at this point in time? Further, he said that the country is not only protected by one but by multiple systems, foreign relationships, a strong economy and the feeling its people have.

And all of them have disrupted and disturbed in the last six years. In the video, he mentioned about the previous foreign relationship with multiple countries. He added India was in good terms with the United States, Russia, and Europe. But in the Modi era, our relationships are transactional and disturbed. He further added not just foreign policy but our neighbourhood is disrupted.

Earlier India was in good terms with Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, he claimed. He extended by saying that now Nepal is angry, Maldives and Bhutan are disturbed. He claimed that today we live in a country which is economically weak, in trouble with foreign partners and neighbourhood. And said that all these factors have prompted china to take aggressive action against India in the past few months. Meanwhile, Gandhi was continuously criticizing the Modi government over the deadly face-off with china in the Galwan Valley area. However, Gandhi'svideo was widely shared by fellow congress members all across social media. But as the video went viral, a bunch of netizens shortened the clip and posted all over the media as funny memes.
