Mission Hands Together: A mission to empower underprivileged and daily wagers

Lucknow: The Covid-19 pandemic has left numerous people devoid of jobs and the basic necessities of life. SWAPNA FOUNDATION with its continuous efforts has come up with a new initiative for the help of needy.

SWAPNA FOUNDATION has launched its initiative Mission Hands Together which aims to support and empower the underprivileged and daily wagers like rickshaw pullers, labourers, vendors, etc. through this mission. The foundation has extended its operations in 11 districts and small towns, across Uttar Pradesh.

The first drive started with the distribution of ration packages, hygiene kits and other essentials in slums of Nishantganj and Daliganj, in Lucknow. Needless to say, the founder of the foundation Achyut Tripathi ensured that the drive took place with proper precaution and COVID-19 guidelines. 

In an interaction, Achyut Tripathi said that, "This mission will be a ray of hope in the lives of people who lost their jobs and are facing shortage of basic necessities. In times as dire and challenging as they are now, we need to be a pillar of support for all our brothers and sisters in distress." 

With this mission, team SWAPNA pledged to eradicate hunger and poverty from the society through their combined efforts. The foundation pledges to bring smiles on the face of every underprivileged and daily wage workers.
