Uttar Pradesh: Catching sight of yet another climb up in Corona cases in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Secretary, Rajendra Tiwari of Uttar Pradesh administration declares a lockdown beginning from 10 pm on July 10, 2020. The rapidly mounting number of 31,156 confirmed Corona cases with 845 deaths has been a cause of alarming concern to the Uttar Pradesh government. Meanwhile, seeing the rapid growth in State’s graph the administration orders to impose a lockdown.
The lockdown will begin from night falling to 10 pm on Friday July 10, 2020. This complete lockdown will continue until 5 am morning on Monday July 13, 2020. During this lockdown, offices will remain shut. Regular markets whether groceries or fruits and vegetables also remain halted. Commercial establishments will remain shut. Allowance will be given to the carriers of necessary good supplies. Industrial factory outlets will also be allowed to remain open. Public Welfare and Development works will keep going for this period including the personal projects of the administration.
In case of urgency, service men and workers who need to goout are required to carry their identity cards and necessary documents. Seeing the urgency of the situation Government in UP imposed the strict measure in July 9, 2020 night.
