Twelve Indian fishermen detained by Pakistan

New Delhi, Nov 12: Pakistani authorities have arrested twelve Indian fishermen. The security officials said that they were allegedly entering in the country’s territorial waters off the coast of Sindh province.

They were arrested by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) during an operation and a case has been registered against them at the Dock Police station, Karachi.

A security official said, “The fishermen were handed over to the Docks Police Station in Karachi to register a case against them for illegal entering into Pakistan.”

Two boats of the fishermen have been confiscated by the authorities.
