Missing HDFC VP found dead

New Delhi, Sep 10: Vice President of HDFC Bank Siddharth Sanghvi was found dead on Monday. The police recovered his body from a hilly area in Thane district near Haji Malang Shrine.

In connection with the murder, police have arrested a 20 year old Sarfaraz Sheikh who is a driver by profession. Sheikh planned to rob Singhvi but when Singhvi resisted, he killed him.

The police registered a case under IPC 364 (kidnapping or abducting in order to murder), 364 (A) (kidnapping for ransom) and 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person).

Deputy Commissioner of police Manjunath Singe (Mumbai police spokesperson) said, “The body was found in the morning in Kalyan. Our team is at the spot. Panchanama is going on. The sections of murder will be added once the paperwork is done.”

Singhvi went missing from Kamla Mill Compound on September 5.
