Anne Hathaway to receive Human Rights award

New Delhi, Sep 7: Anne Hathaway will receive Human Rights Campaign National equality Award in Washington on September 16.

Hathaway, famous for Bride Wars, Dark Knight Rises and many more renowned movies will be honoured with the award for her humanitarian work she has done for the society, especially for LGBTQ and women.

Chad Griffin, President of HRC said that, “From speaking out against discriminatory legislation targeting the LGBTQ community to her leadership on workplace equality for women, Anne is making a real difference in the lives of countless people around the globe.”

Hathaway was also appointed as UN Women’s Global Ambassador earlier this year.
