Actor-director Neeraj Vora passes away

Mumbai, Dec 14: Multi-faceted Bollywood actor-director and writer Neeraj Vora passed away this morning. He was 54.

Vora was in comma for the last few month and he breath his last in Andheri hospital early this morning. He will be cremated at Santa Cruz crematorium later in the day, a family member said.

His close friend and actor Paresh Rawal tweeted, “Neeraj Vora - The writer n director of Phir Hera Pheri n many hit films is no more ...Aum Shanti.”

Expressing grief over demise of Vora, Firoz Nadiadwala said, “I have lost the battle to save my brother and friend from the clutches of death. He was recovering well, but his condition deteriorated on December 8.”

Born in Gujarati family, bollywood blockbuster Rangeela writer, will be remembered for directing another hit flick ‘Phir Hera Pheri.’

He had several hit movies to his credit, including Akele Hum, Akele Tum, Josh, Badshah, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Awara Pagal Deewana, Deewane hue Pagal, Ajnabi, Hera Pheri, as writer.

He also directed Khiladi 420.
