21 Days Lockdown: Full list of services that will remain open in India

New Delhi. The Home Ministry of India has issued a full set of guidelines including exceptions to the essential services for the 21 days complete lockdown to curb Coronavirus outbreak, as declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday night. A 24X7 hotline will also be established to aid States during the 21-day lockdown tenure.


While announcing the lockdown, PM Modi specified that the essential services will remain open during the 21-day period.

Inhis address to the nation late Tuesday night, PM Modi had said, "From 12 o'clock tonight there will be a complete lockdown across the country for 21 days. It is a kind of curfew... If we are not able to manage the upcoming 21 days (of nationwide complete lockdown), we will be pushed back 21 years."
According to latest updates disclosed on the Health Ministry website, the total number of cases in the country rose to 519. While 10 people have died in India so far due to the deadly virus that has killed over 17000 people across the world till date.
