Amid coronavirus lockdown, schools switching to virtual classrooms

Lucknow: In the wake of coronavirus, the government has imposed lockdown in several districts in India. Amid lockdown several educational institution in Lucknow have switched to virtual classrooms to compensate the classes missed due to the outbreak of pandemic. 


For instance, City Montessori School (CMS) and Study Hall is using the Google classroom platform to provide assignments in a paperless way. As well as Google classroom is a Easy to access platform, where students can have access to all their lessons and study material submitted by teachers. 


Shalini Sinha principal of Study Hall School told, "We are sending worksheets and projects to students. We are also sharing some self-explanatory videos to make them understand the concept." Further she added, "Study from home is a good initiative. Students need to prepare the topics assigned by their teachers by sitting at home." 


Meanwhile, The Lucknow University (LU) has also released the e-content on its website and has directed students to follow the study materials for their respective courses. The vice-chancellor of LU said, "Teachers have been asked to upload fresh content related to their subjects."
