Ayodhya: Construction of 'Ram Mandir' initiated with special prayers despite coronavirus outbreak

Ayodhya: The construction of 'Ram Mandir' was initiated on Monday amid lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus in Ayodhya.


The idols of the diety will be shifted to a temporary throne made by artisans from Jaipur, with the special players on Wednesday. Thus had to be mentioned that, the idols will remain at the temporary structure untill the construction of temple gets completed. Meanwhile, the Ayodhya administration ordered the closure of all temples to stop the spread of COVID-19. 


The special prayers were held in the presence of Bimlendra Mishra and Dr Anil Mishra, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust members. The trust was constituted by the Central government in February, days before the expiry of three-month deadline set by the Apex Court.


Yogi Adityanath Uttar CM proposed a visit to Ayodhya on Wednesday. But this is not final yet as CM is responsible for the safety of people amid coronavirus outbreak.
