BCCI appealed cricket fans to play for the world amid coronavirus outbreak

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appealed all the cricket fans all over across the country to "play for the world" by staying at home being safe during the coronavirus outbreak. 

 

BCCI shared a message on its Twitter handle, "If you ever dreamed of playing for millions around the world, now is your chance. Play it safe, play for the world." As Various part of the country has been shutdown from Monday. 

 

In the wake of coronavirus, the central government has asked to strictly enforce lockdown in various states. As coronavirus has claimed over seven lives in the country and toll of infected people have crossed 428. 

 

The Prime Minister Nerendra Modi also applead the countrymen to take lockdown seriously and advised states to take legal action against the people who are violating the lockdown.
