New Delhi. Jaish-e-Mohammad chief and wanted terrorist Masood Azhar has been released by Pakistan a few months into his arrest. As per the intelligence agencies Pakistan has escalated troops' deployment along Rajasthan border and the Sialkot-Jammu sectors. While the Indian government has been warned about the same and notified about the possibility of terror attacks in the country.

The security forces along the border areas have been put on high alert based on the inputs from the IB. India's decision to repudiate Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir has lead to the increased deployment of forces on the border. The Pakistan PM Imran Khan had threatened that Islamabad would give "fullest possible response" to India's actions in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan had arrested Azhar to show the international community that decisive actions were being taken against terror emanating from its soil. Staring at a possible Financial Action Task Force (FATF) blacklisting, Islamabad had previously arrested the released the "terrorist" declared by India. Evidently, the Asia Pacific Group of FATF, last month, had blacklisted Pakistan for non-compliance in actions against terror financing. “Give sacrifices for our Kashmiri brothers, fulfil our duty till the last bullet, last soldiers and last breath,” the Pakistan's Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had stated recently.
