Moscow. Russia has come in full support of India over its decision of revoking Article 370. A statement issued by Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that India and Pakistan should resolve the differences on bilateral basis, using diplomatic and political ways. Russia has been in consistent favour of normalization of Indo-Pak relations. The statement further said, it expects both the countries not to aggravate the situation in the region due to the change by New Delhi in the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

“We proceed from fact that the changes associated with the change in the status of the state of J&K and its division into two union territories have been carried out within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of India,” the statement said.
Pakistan foreign affairs minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has left for Beijing to ponder upon the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
After meeting with China’s foreign minister Wang Yi, he claimed that China will support Pakistan's decision to approach the United Nations Security Council in the wake of India's move to revoke the special status of Jammu & Kashmir.
China, however, called on India and Pakistan to settle the disputes through dialogue and negotiation. The Chinese Foreign Minister has  urged both the countries to prevent any action which could further intensify tension in the region and build a new path to peaceful co-existence.
