Lucknow. The students of a Madarsa in Unnao have registered complaint against Bajrang Dal, alleging the latter of assaulting them for not chanting "Jai Shri Ram". Students of age group 12-14 years belonging to Madrasa Dar-ul-Uloom Faiz-e-Aam in Unnao, were attacked by alleged Bajrang Dal members at Government Inter College (GIC) grounds.

The complaint claims that the students were attacked by the people belonging to the radical outfit while playing cricket. Bajrang Dal members arrived and forced the kids to chant Jai Shri Ram. When the kids refused to follow their call, they were assaulted with bats and wickets. As per the initial reports, one student suffered grievous injury to his head and has been admitted to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the cops registered a case and the matter is currently under investigation. So far, the imam of Unnao's Jama Masjid has charged Bajrang Dal for the attack. Three accused have been identified.
Last month, a group of people brutally whipped alleged bike-thief Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand and was forced to shout "Jai Sri Ram". The autopsy report stated that he died due to brain haemorrhage.
