Rajnath Singh denies BJP involvement on Karnataka Crisis, blames RaGa of initiating "resignation drive"

New Dehi. The political turbulence in Karnataka found its voice in the Lok Sabha session on Monday. The Union Defence Minister (BJP), Rajnath Singh denied any role of the saffron party in the political crisis of the State. 
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary alleged BJP of mobilizing the political disruptions in Karnataka resuting in an uproar within the Lok Sbha. 

Replying to the accusation, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that BJP has no involvement in Karnataka crisis and recalled BJP's commitment of maintaining the dignity of the Parliament. Rajnath Singh made a dig at Rahul Gandhi, holding him responsible of initiating the resignation drive, resulting in senior party leaders stepping down from their posts. 

Monday became witness to all Congress ministers' resignation to make way for rebel MLAs to save the JD(S)-Congress coalition ruling in Karnataka. Previously, Karnataka minister and Independent MLA H. Nagesh resigned and withdrew support to the HD Kumaraswamy-led government.
